Data privacy information for online applications
The protection of personal data is of utmost importance to us. We handle the data you provide us with in compliance with the legal provisions, particularly those defined in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR).
Application information
We collect different types of data. Particularly, this includes your personal data with contact information as well as a description of your education/vocational training, work experience and skills. Furthermore, you have the option of providing us with electronically stored documents such as credentials or cover letters.
With your application, you affirm that the information you provided is accurate. We would like to point out that any false statements or willful omissions can constitute grounds for rejection or a later termination.
We do not require any information from you that cannot be utilized based on the General Act on Equal Treatment (race, ethnic origin, sex, religion or ideology, disabilities, age or sexual identity). We also ask you not to provide us with any information pertaining to illnesses, pregnancy, ethnic origin, political opinions, philosophical or religious beliefs, trade union membership, physical or mental health or sex life. The same applies to content, which could violate third-party rights (e.g. copyrights, press law or general third-party rights).
Collection, processing, use and transfer of your data
Personal data is only collected, stored, processed and used for purposes connected to your interest in a current or future position with us and for the processing of your application. This data is not disclosed to third parties. Data such as name, address, telephone number, email address, etc. is collected in line with using the online application system. This data strictly serves contacting you in regard to your application.
If your application is successful, the indicated data can be used administrative matters in line with your employment.
Your online application is solely processed and taken note of by our relevant contact persons. All employees entrusted with data processing are obligated to keep your data confidential. Under no circumstances do third parties obtain knowledge of your data. Your data is exclusively processed in Germany.
Storage
In the event of a rejection, applicants’ data is deleted after six months. If you have agreed to a longer storage of your personal data, we will include your data in our applicant pool. There, the data is deleted after a period of two years. If you were awarded a job in line with the application process, your data is transferred from the applicant data system to our personnel information system.
Data security
We attach great importance to the highest level of security for our system and use up-to-date data storage and security technologies, to protect your data in an ideal manner. This includes measures such as antivirus software or a firewall. Of course our security measures are continuously improved in accordance with technological developments. Your data is transmitted in an encrypted manner and then, stored in a database. All systems, in which your personal data is stored, are protected against access and are only accessible to a certain group of persons responsible for personnel.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
If we change the content of this Privacy Policy, these revisions will be published on our website.
Deletion of data, revocation of consent
You have the right to request precise information at any time in regard to your personal data stored by us, to view said data and to request that inaccurate data about you is corrected or that the stored data is completely or partially deleted.
You can revoke your consent at any time with future effect. The respective data will then be immediately deleted. In this case, please send your revocation stating your full name and your email address to dsb@macle.de . In place of deletion, a blocking of the data can supersede in cases required by law.
